12 ounce can from Total Wine Roseville, 5/27/21. Black, large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, minerals, dark chocolate. Taste is roast, leather, nuts, cherry, dark fruits. A little tartness. Tad bit thin. Tasty. Nice stout.

The Aromas are bread dough and fruit. Flavors are moderately sweet tart with good carbonation but some diacetyl and metallic in there. One and done.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains and a bit of lactose with some roast and a hint of ginger. Flavor has sweet dark grains and lactose with some ginger and a touch of roast.
