Bottle, 6.7%. Lagery aroma with a good spicy hop note. Clear chestnut color. Big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter but also quite malty. High bitterness, quite uncompromising. The finish has a nutty maltiness and a mild spicy hoppiness.

Bottle, 6.9%. Milk chocolate aroma, slightly acidic. Black colour. Ok dark brown head, but fizzy and unstable. The flavour starts off acidic and has notes of dark, fairly bitter, chocolate. The finish is acidic and a little yeasty with a good warming alcohol note. Reminds me of a Baltic porter, but a bit more mellow.

Bottle from Havnens Vin & Tobakhus. Pours opaque dark brownish black with small light brown head. Aroma is intense roasted malt, liquorice, soy sauce, Vegemite, gravy, malt syrup, cocoa, sherry and vanilla. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter, light salty, faint acidic and medium umami. Body is creamy with light carbonation. Finish is long, mostly sweet and very rich and complex with notes of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, liquorice, soy sauce, Vegemite, gravy, cocoa, cola, vanilla, malt syrup. Very rich and complex but still nicely balanced.
Appearance: +1 for the nice label.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, Bourbon, some chocolate and hints of coffee. Taste: Well balanced mix of roasted malt, coffee, Bourbon (incliding vanilla), dark chocolate. Boozy, bit warming mouthfeel. Smooth, lactose. Dry bittery backbone. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet and over moderate to medium bitterness. I'm not a fan of lactose, but besides that it's a very nice Imperial Stout.
