(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with crisp-bread, honey, herbs and citrus. Malty taste with notes of bread, honey, herbs, citrus and a mild herbal/citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Generic macro lager, but clean and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and a creamy, lacing, off-white head. Malty nose with a faint metallic edge. Rich, malty body, sweet thick malts, nutty and slightly roasty wit a warming finish and just sufficient hops for balance. Not bad but quite rustic and far from the sophistication of the best German Doppelbocks. 251025

Flaska från SB. Kopparfärgad klar vätska med fluffigt skum. Stor och söt maltig doft med mörkt socker, bröd, fruktkaka. Harmonisk och utvecklad smakbild. Från mjöl, via söt karamellig malt och fruktkompott på söta äpplen och päron, tosca, nötter och en lätt lite pepprig beska. Värmande alkohol men lättdrucken och för stilen närmast elegant. Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è appena percepibile. Il mantello birroso superiore è destinato a vita breve. Le bollicine sono grandi. Il liquido appare limpido. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di bollicine medio-fini. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è scarno. L'amaro è temperato. La forza gustativa è leggera e la durata è corta. Il tetto della bocca riconosce note di cereali.

Gylden brun klar med gulbrunt skum. Lukter maltekstrakt og lys karamell. Middels fylde. Maltig, lett bitter. Smaker maltekstrakt, mørk sirup og noe brent karamell. Middels lang.

Pours dark red brown with a medium sized head. Sweet and malty aroma of caramel, toffee and some brown sugar. Sweet taste of syrup, brown sugar and butterscotch. Pretty good, but perhaps a bit simple.
