Bottle (from Alko). Black colour with a beigeish brown small foamy head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some toffee and mild herbal notes. Flavour is chocolate, some roasted, mild liquorice, alcohol, toffee and mild floral, fruity and wooden notes to it. Coffee and roast in finish.

330ml can from School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a big, short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and molasses. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a rich, smooth, roasty, liqourice, light caramel, spicy coffee, warm boozy alcohol, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Surprisingly wam and boozy for an 8% beer.

330ml can from School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, toffee malt, light orange citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
