pours dark brown with a khaki head. aroma is malty, dark malts, however no chocolate aroma at all. taste of roasted and toastes malts, very light chocolate flavor, lots of dark malts, quite firmly hopped, soft, smooth, personally i think this beer is a bit too hoppy for a stout, medium body, flat carbo, dry finish, some powdery dry notes. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ale Tsarish Double Imperial Stout on 25 May 2018 at 13:27 - Score: 7

pours light brown, with a light head. aroma of laurel, roasted and toasted malts, cacao, lots of laurel-ish. Bottle 33cl, 5.6%, 30 ibu, hops: cascade, simcoe, citra, centennial and vic secret, pours hazy golden with a white head. (Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 36 - BB 22/11/17, from Alko Arkadia, 20170622) The beer poured pale golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, peach and pineapple. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, pineapple, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A brew with nice taste and aroma but way too fizzy palate.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Scooper Tasting ], Ulfborg, Denmark. [ As Vic Ale Tsarish Double Imperial Stout ].[ Courtesy of my EU Swap Summer Santa - 2016 ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, berry - black currant, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, wood, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170304] 7-4-8-3-15
