Cask at the White Lion, Norwich. Dark gold bordering on amber, clear. Grain, yeast rolls, slight hint of whisky in the nose. Sweet spicy taste, heading toward a more pronounced bitterness in the finish. Very well done in spite of the name and pumpclip.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Friday, 26th February 2016 Pours dark gold/light amber with a white head. Some sweet citrussy hops on nose that donโ€™t transfer into the mouth as much as Iโ€™d like, biscuity malts, mid table bitterness, light fruity beer throughout. Itโ€™s ok. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is citrus grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light smooth yeast, big tropical fruity grassy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. An awesome fruity season ale.

Cask handpump, The Kite, Oxford, Saturday 30th January 2016 A solid pale ale that is good save for a little butteryness, nicely bittersweet, the pilsner malts do give this a pleasant flinty edge and swift dryness but overall this is just a good session golden ale with a twist pleasant fruitiness. Fine. A5 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3
