From a wooden cask at the 31st Ealing Beer Festival, Walpole Park, 15/07/22. Clear golden with a decent white head. Nose is dried fruits, oak, tannins, pale malts, straw. Taste comprises stewed fruits, light hop presence, oak tones, grains, biscuit, crackers. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. Decent.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, yeasty, malt, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A golden amber pour with a reddish tinge and a ring of white head; leafy hop aroma; sweet hedgerow fruit taste with caramel and blackberries; then a dry finish with a gentle meld of hops. Very satisfying.
