Cask at Land of Liberty Peace & Plenty, Chorleywood, Herts. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Vague fruity aroma, tasting tangy and fruity, served way too warm on a very hot afternoon. Cask on a warm day in England really does not work, I should stick to keg in summer months.

Cask @ Charlotte Despard, Highgate. Golden with a frothy head. It’s very dry, hopped, but a fruitiness does give it a decent flavour.

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 6/3/2020. Medium brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. As the previous review notes, this was a very sweet beer, with heavy caramel notes, ripe malts and a touch of red berry sweetness before a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Keg at Mad Squirrel Amersham, 11/01/20. Clear chestnut brown with an off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel biscuit, orange peel, straw, toffee, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises light pine needle, dusty hops, caramel, grass, fruit esters, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow leafy hop bitterness. Decent for a brown.

Keg at the mad Squirrel tap Amersham. A clear golden coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is mellow bready grains, some buttered bread, straw some lemon rind. Flavour is composed of bland pale malts, faint lemon rind. So so. Palate is semi sweet, mellow carbonation, little grainy ok.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Sweet caramel aroma with a floral herby streak. Medium brown. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Light-medium bitter. Sour edge. Herby hoppiness. The odd shimmer of sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Nice enough.
