12 oz can purchased as a singe at D&Q - The Beer Station in Houston, Texas. Crafted on 093015. The pour is a clear brown copper with a tan well formed head. The aroma is toasty roast, sweet caramel malt. The taste is the caramel nutty malt, toasty less roast than the nose, and a clean finish. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and and a clean slightly sweet finish. Nice full flavor as it warms.

16 oz pint at the Karbach Brewing Company in Houston, Texas. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a smaller white head. Decent lace left behind on the glass. The aroma is soft citrus hop along with some floral and cracker malt. The taste is a mix of the floral hop and softly sweet biscuit malt. There is also a general ripeness of the grain which is a bit off putting. Bitter herbal finish lingers. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and the mineral dirt, somewhat unclean finish.

Bottle thanks to Cloaker! Pours deep clear reddish black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is bourbon, raisins, oak, molasses, brown sugar, cherries. Pretty standard aroma profile for a well crafted BA barleywine actually. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, rich toffee notes, cherry, vanilla, bourbon. Minimal acidity, which is nice. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Good beer.
