From can. Pours hazy orange with a huge white ead. Aroma is fruity and slight herbal. Dry and bitter. Dry and herbal. Bitter and herbal into the finish.

12 oz. can as pictured. Copper color, lasting head from a steady carbonation level. Even when warm the aroma is mild. Floral hints, weak pale malt. Flavor is sweet with a light hops bite. Balance is decent. Floral and pine with a mellow, lasting bitterness after the sip. Simple but pretty well made. Easy to find these cans all over Texas.

12 oz. can. Aroma is pretty nice, grain mixed with a light grassy hop. The body is lighter with a high carbonation level. The base of the brew is wheat and grain, plenty of citrus flavor. I wouldn’t let this sit in the can to long but if you can get it fresh in Texas, it’s worth a pint. Decent wheat based ale.

12 oz can, purchased at the H.E.B, Austin, Tx in a mixed 12 pack. Color is darker than the start and Hefe, Amber hue to the gold. Aroma is fresh with mint, floral and citrus hop notes.
The flavor is mostly what the aroma tells me: mint or wintergreen notes right up front with the floral notes leading to a drying texture over the palate. Bitterness is nice and lingering at a moderate level. Overall this is a session style brew with a decent amount of flavor that pleases me.

12 oz can, purchased at the H.E.B, Austin, Tx in a mixed 12 pack. Color is darker than the start and Hefe, Amber hue to the gold. Aroma is decent yeast phenols, banana, light bubble gum and maybe a hint of diacetyl.
The flavor is just as the aroma indicates. Yeasty banana, clove, very mild touch of butter. The butter isn’t to off putting but there. Almost a hint of coriander (which I don’t really want in my Hefe) Body is medium texture with a mild fullness. Honestly it’s not bad from a can so on draft I would order it for a sample.

12 oz can, purchased at the H.E.B, Austin, Tx in a mixed 12 pack. Color is a copper with head retention. Aroma is mild caramel, weak yeast, mild biscuit.
Body is thin but not on the watery side like pale lagers can get. It has some flavor which is an accomplishment for any lager. This is nowhere near the best in style( as I had yesterday a Hops and Grain) but this is clean and serviceable in the hot state of Texas.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is wood, dark fruit, roasted malts. Similar flavors to nose, fruity, light roast, good.

The beer is a light amber color. Moderately cloudy. The head is white and pretty big. Lots of lacing, good retention. The aroma has a nice mix of hop flavors with a pretty good amount of malt presence. There’s a fairly dank grapefruit and pine resin foundation. Pineapple juice sweetness. Some mango and orange. Caramel tinged malt sugar character. More malt sweetness comes out as the beer warms. Taste has a lot of malt character. Hop flavor is there, but it’s toned down and a bit bland. Medium bitterness. Piney, grapefruity hop flavor. A bit heavy. Caramel malt flavor. Medium body. Not a bad DIPA but it just doesn’t have it in the taste.

Poured from a can dated 04/29/2015. Aroma is balanced between malt and hops. Light caramel and toasted bread with a bit of cracker. Moderate grapefruit and pine resin with a hint of alcohol. Pours a slightly cloudy, copper orange with a medium sized, moderately thick, slightly off white head with decent retention. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some caramel, toasted bread and crackers. Medium high to high bitterness. Medium low hop character, mostly grapefruit and pine resin. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, not a great beer. Balanced malt and hops, but I prefer an unbalanced IPA tilted towards hops.
