Bottle at tales of ales in Athens. Pours a somewhat clear red, no head. Aroma is raspberry, blueberry, passion fruit. Medium body. Flavour is sweet, fruity, passion fruit, raspberry, mango, passion fruit. Nice.

330ml bottle bought at an Olive shop in Chania. Shared with Finn. Stable fawn-coloured head, ruby-black body, spotty lacing. Promising smell of liquorice and chocolate malts. Quite similar taste of rounded chocolate malts and liquorice. Prolonged ending, lightly roasted. Pretty good. (Tromsø, 25.06.2013).

Spandert arv Rune. Delt på Vervet. Svart. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Daler sakte. God sjokoladearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lakris. Bare det. Lett tørr bitter avslutning.

400ml hand-pulled ale at Avalon Rock Cafe. Hazy,rather dark orange body under a remaining white head, spotty lacing. Inviting fresh citrus smell with a note of grain. Solid orange crush to the taste buds, bread-like malts beneath. Ends with lingering succulent orange bites, moderately bitter. Medium bodied. Enjoyed in sunny weather outside at the cafe listening to Simple Minds Someone Somewhere in Summertime. (Chania, 28.05.2023).

8-3-7-4-14 Bottle, nine months before bbd. Pours cloudy dark yellow, with an enormous creamy head. Aroma is citrusy hops with orange peel, grapefruit and musty tropical notes, on top of grainy malts with toffee. Full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is citrusy hops with marmalade, kiwis and musty stone fruits and tropical notes, as well as grainy malts with bread and toffee. Nice hoppy finish.

Draught at Barley Cargo, smallish hcreamy head, cloudy murky and a bit intense pink colour, aroma of raspberries and sour cherries, same traits in flavour that feels a bit like fruit drops, some lactic notes, mellow lactic fruit sourness lightish sweetness. Nice and easy.
