Description
An independent, family-run brewery for over 110 years. True Belgian craftsmanship. That's Haacht Brewery.
On June 14, 1898 Eugène De Ro brewed his first top fermentation beer. Four years later he also started brewing bottom fermentation beer. His beers were such a hit that ‘Haecht’s Dairy Company and Brewery’ became one of the best Belgian breweries in 1913. In the fifties and sities there were numerous small takeovers and the Haacht Brewery beers were being distributed across the entire country. Thanks to the take-overs of breweries in the south of the Netherlands and northern France, Haacht Brewery set foot ashore in neighboring countries. In 1990, Haacht Brewery started the complete replacement of its production apparatus; the whole process was completed around 2015. Today, Haacht Brewery is a state-of-the-art brewery, inspired by its history and at the same time more than ready for the future.

On tap in De Torenhoeve, Rotselaar. A bright, clean, golden pour with an egg white, rather sticky, medium-lasting head. Aroma is so low you can hardly figure it out: a hint of malty bread and that's all. Dry, low-bodied, watery mouth. Dry, medium-lasting finish. Bah.

Noe tåkete med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter malt og noe belgisk gjær. kraftig i smak. Merker godt at denne har høy alkoholstyrke. Noe urter i avslutningen.

Clear orange to amber colour, moderate sized creamy ecru head, which last forever; aroma of pine resiny, orange zesty, some fruity, floral honey and perfume notes; taste is quite hoppy bittery with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; not an over-complicated IPA and quite old-fashioned but I like it very much

Bottle, 6%. Fruity and caramelly aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Big stable off-white head. The flavour is caramelly, roasted, malty with a mild fruity hop bite. Roasted finish, or perhaps just a rough bitterness. 636314

Fles gekregen van Kim en Sander. Het is een helder koperkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een fruitige en hoppige geur. De smaak is hoppig, bitter en zacht fruitig.
