Slightly hay golden with a white, fizzy head. Fruity aroma with nice spice, yeast, and light bright notes. Medium effervescent body. Flavor follows the aroma with more pronounced spice and bright fruit notes. A very flavorful saison but just a bit muted in the flavor. Highly enjoyable.

Sample during the "Bob’s Private Bottle Share" on 11/21/2016. Clear golden color with a medium white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Fruit, yeast and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, yeast, doughy malt and slight pepper. The finish is mildly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Can shared by Pruf. Pours with no head. Thick orange color, moderate clarity. Aroma is sweet candy hops and I swear I smell rice. Flavor is not bad sweetness but it covers all the hops. I like the sweetness but it’s not the way I like my DIPAs, you know, with actual hop flavors. The bullshit on the can is also a bit too much to stomach. Upside, a DIPA that berko hasn’t had.

Sample at Knotty Pine. The beer is a dark brown color with some amber around the edges, and a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, fruit and hops. Medium body with flavors of molasses, malt, earthy hops and a bit of dark fruit. The finish is sweet with a molasses aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at Bob’s Bar during the "Madtree Brewing @ Bob’s!" event on 04/14/2016. Slightly hazy dark orange color with a medium thick fluffy off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, dank hops and pale malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus, and sake. The finish is a cross between fruity hops and plum wine. Pretty good overall.

Deep red. Citrus and light tropical with a good portion of earthy hops. Caramel malts an light chocolate. A hint of spice. Really crusty and good. I’d drink again.
