32oz crowler pours with a pale gold body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up a blend of coriander, clove, banana, bubble gum and then a thin sugary malty cotton candy. The taste delivers smooth sweet sugary malts as well as a clove, banana to bubble gum like sensation. To midway it gets smoother with a sugary cotton candy note. This is a typical over sweet and heavy American saison with nice flavor.

32oz crowler pours with a nice deep dark body that supports a full tan head of foam. The aroma offers up coffee, then earthy coffee and then deep dark roasty coffee with some chocolate in the background. The taste delivers loads of roasty coffee that has a thin sweet smoothness to it that leads to a more earthy coffee sensation. To midway the coffee becomes a little more burnt and chard just as some chocolate is noticed. Reasonable coffee stout that delivers plenty of coffee depth and balanced by a modest malty sweetness.

22oz bomber pours with a slightly hazy deep copper body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of prunes and perfectly ripe cherries to go along with a mild pleasing level of thick malts intermingled with spicy maple. Another pull reveals additional notes of molasses and smashed dates. The taste delivers a thin body on the palate yet plenty of flavor. I get smooth soft sweet malts and molasses and a sliver of caramel candy sliding into fruity prunes and cherries nuanced with a fruity sweet earthiness. Toward the finish the dark fruitiness picks up a tangy faintly tart edge adding a counter to the sweetness. Holy hell. I get zero sense of this beer’s towering 11.9% abv. You’ve been warned. Pretty solid but more body would help.

Pours with an opaque muddy dull gold body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up grapefruit, pith, tangelo and a bit of mango. Nice. The taste delivers inviting tangelo, grapefruit, mango and a dash of tangerine juiciness heading into a mild cracker maltiness. Very nice

Poured up on tap at the Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a deep copper to amber colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up bready malts crystal malts, a bit of caramel malts and then spicy to earthy hoppiness. The taste delivers malts, crystal malts, roasted biscuit, a dash of caramel and then spicy to earthy to herbally green bitter hoppiness. This is fully malt forward Amber but clearly noticeable levels of hop bitterness.

32oz growler pours with a deep dark body that supports a nice mocha colored head. The modest aroma offers up roasty toasty malts, dark bread and chocolate. The taste delivers thick dark roasted richness with just the right amount of depth and sweet malty slickness. I get dark roasted malts, chocolate malts, a bit of caramel malts and molasses as well as a faint sweet fruity ester note. Several swigs later and the firm chocolate note picks up a milk chocolate like sensation as well. That’ll do.

32oz growler pours with a clear gold body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up fruity pear and ripe apple as well as thin soft wheat and a sliver of lemon. The taste delivers sweet wheat nuanced malts, pear and apple fruity estery sweetness, sweetened lemon as well as mild earthy to spicy hops. It stays pretty sweet, a little too much so, right into the finish and lacking much in the way of a refreshing experience.

Birch and Barley: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, brown sugar, and hints of chocolate. Body is surprisingly light and very smooth. Quite nice.

32oz crowler pours with a hazy deep gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The mild aroma offers up some citrus tartness, a faint sour citrus note and then a light pear funkiness. The taste delivers a mild puckering jab of acidic citrus tartness blended with a faint vinegar sensation. To midway a faint sweet pear ester like note is barely recognizable over the other flavors and followed by a thin cracker like maltiness. This is light, crisp, mildly puckering and refreshing.
