Poured from 500mL bottle. Medium dark brown with no head. Nice Madeira bourbon barrel, hint of chocolate, toffee, nice complexity.

500mL bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a minimal head. Dark brown sugars, dried fruits, a touch of vanilla, and plenty of woody bourbon barrels on the nose. Flavour has burnt toffee, maple sugars, bourbon barrels, some char; dried fruits have taken the background. Has a really nice oxidation character that accents the beer very nicely. A bit sweeter than the nose suggests, but has a really nice balance between complex sugars and barrel character. Excellent.

Dark brown, some haze on it. No head. Rich dark fruit nose, nice oxidation, all those nice dried fruits. chocolatey notes, woody. On the palate, it's sweet, lots of oxidation and barrel. Low carbonation, which makes for an oily beer. Superb sugars in that finish. Tannic. This is different, very complex, innovative.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny tan head. Nose has plenty of nice sherry-like oxidation, deep bourbon, lots of booze, and dark dried fruitiness. Flavour is sweet but complex, with plenty of bourbon barrels, some sticky maple, port/sherry-like oxidation, and dark dried fruits. Complex, refined; the oxidation works wonderfully. The sticky sugars from the maple also work great. Lovely.

50cl bottle. White wax. Oily black, no head, leggy. Nose had malt, black licorice, plenty of maple and vanilla. Flavor has malt and licorice and brownie batter, plenty of maple. Barrel is balanced. Long, off dry, chewy finish.

Pint can, 2022 vintage. Coffee aroma with notes of lactose sugar, roasted malt, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and essentially no lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, lactose sugar, allspice and cinnamon flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with coffee, nutmeg and vanilla flavors. Pretty nice.
