Description
We brew and serve beer, kombucha, cider, mead and wine. We currently offer two rotating charcuterie boards options. One meat friendly and one vegetarian.
We have a steady flow of food trucks/pop-ups serving delicious grub six nights per week (NOW OPEN 7 DAYS). We also allow you to bring in outside food if you’d like. Order up a pizza and head on up! Our full schedule of events is available on the Facebook events page.
Our goal as a neighborhood focused brewery is to serve the local community first, one pint at a time. Right now, the products we make are only served onsite. As we grow, we may end up choosing to distribute but for now we are limited to special events only. We do some canning/bottling runs throughout the year and are planning to increase our frequency this year.
Growlers are available to-go as well as on-site consumption of beer and kombucha in various sizes in our tasting room. We brew on a small scale, helping us keep the beer incredibly fresh, constantly rotating but with a diverse range of styles.
At Urbanrest, we’re flavor explorers on the path to enlightenment. Madly in love with fermentation and all the amazing flavors that go along with it. We’re very fortunate to be a part of a community that embraces our pursuit and appreciate you all joining us on this journey.

Crowler from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish orange gold with a quickly dissipating finger of white foam. Citrus focused nose with pith, pine and peach aromas. Smooth, with some pine and bitter hop astringency mid-palate to finish. Slightly watery, quick finish.

On tap at Urbanrest, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out tropical pithy fruits, piney hops, and some tangy citrus. Flavour is wonderfully bright, with tangy citrus hops, white wine, and pithy fruits. Really nicely put-together. Doesn't have the same unpleasant character that many hazies have. Excellent.

On tap at Urbanrest, pours a clear copper golden with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of delicious piney hop oils, some resins, and just enough biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of piney hops, a bit of resinous oiliness, and crisp biscuity malt. Brilliantly constructed, with excellent balance. Lovely.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 4/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal lingering resins through the glass. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.9%. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mildly bitter/drying finish; amazingly soft feel. Amazing Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.
