A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy - coriander standing out. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel.11

Bottle, 6.5%. Fruity aroma. Hazy brown colour, small white head. The flavour starts off caramelly, then turns rough. Some coriander. Malty, but rough finish. 6 3 5 3 11 Bottle. Yeasty banana aroma. Muddy amber colour. Slightly slimy mouthfeel. Metal flavour. 4 3 4 3 8

Draught. Malty aroma, hint of liquorice. Unclear black colour. Nice, sweet liquorice flavour with a hint of yeast, though. But still very nice. Low carbonation.

Draught. Weak, malty roasted aroma. Almost black colour, small creamy light brown head. Thin body. Liquorice flavour at several levels. A bit sweet.

Gushing to golden, slightly orange tinted beer; orangey, dense head. Wheaty (spelt-y) and very citrussy nose (lemon, orange, grapefruit), even a bit lactic (acid?). Soft taste, with a kroepoek-like flavour, not disagreable, howevr. Citrus (orange) and some perfumed Thai rice, and, of course, coriander. Also a bit of fresh ginger. Light bodied, but creamy-wheaty MF, flour in suspension. Not undeserving. Was spelt used by the Roman Gaul for beer?

GREEN! This beer is venomously green, as from a flacon on the shelf above the bathtub, only to be used by my wife. And that has green foam too, so does this. Or is the cleaning lady’s? The colour is everything. No nose needed, it seems. At first, its just a bit of chalk, but gradually, some aroma as from chlorophyl or spearmint chewing gum comes through. Fresh, yes. Very malty taste. Pale malts, lightly coloured malts and STALE malts. And spearmint, great. Soapy, fizzy MF, medium bodied - I think. As something the children might get a crush on for two weeks in the season. Until the first one gets sick from it, and the bottle is lost in the corner of the fridge. Bleedin’ fads.

La Saint-Hubert Cuvee du Borq, ABV 6%. Slightly cloudy amber color, short head. Aroma of caramel malt, hops. Taste is also a combination of some caramel malt and sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Decent beer.

Slightly hazy brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, fruits like prune, bit spicy, some coffee and licorice. Full taste of roasted malt and fruit. Full palate.
