33cl bottle from my beer cellar, 2008. shared with Kermis Thin but ok off-white head. Amber pour but not dark enough for an Imperial stout. Still verty nice

Aroma is rather floury and has some stale vegetables and grain. Loads of CO2 in palate. Flavour is spicy and it gets more intensive in the aftertaste. Some vegetables and orange peel there too. Not very nice, but hides almost all of the alcohol well. I had also another bottle of this that had leaked some of its content to the transportation box - and it was better than this!

Bottle at home, shared with DutchDrebus. Color is like a stout, but it doesn’t smell or taste like one. It’s decent, but it’s not an imperial stout to me.

Bottle @ home. Brown appearance with a bubbly, light brown head. Roasty, milky, slightly charred, chocolate, dark malty nose. Boozy, rough, chocolate, chat, roasty dark malty flavor. A little harsh and boozy. A disappointment in my mind.

Had this beer at 2010 Kerstbierfestival in Essen, Belgium. Don’t remember much of this beer, nothing really stood out in my opinion. It was a little weird but also not too much. Nice body though, a real warmer on cold winter nights.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium orange amber colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, sour fruit - berries, caramel, malt, yeasty, sour fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is lively. [20110619]

Not a big fan of stouts, just recently start to enjoy them. The worst thing about this one was the mouthfeel. Taste was pretty good!

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, some malts, mild earth and spices. Flavour is mild spices, some quite sour wooden notes along with maltyness.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall frothy head. Slightly dusty and sweet malty aroma with notes of biscuits, accompanied by notes of citrus and shades of coriander. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Biscuity and slightly grainy malty taste with just a tinge of wheat and also rather shy fruity notes; sweet malty and slightly sour-fruity finish. Uncommon Wit. 09.VI.11
