Description

Bottle. Pours a dark red copper with sediment in it. Clarity is high. Smells of Belgian candi sugar sweetness and alcohol. Body light for such a strong beer. Taste is not overpowering. Again that belgian sweetness. Nothing specal here really, its ok.

Bottle. Aroma is very specific, like apple cider but not as if the beer is ruined kind of way. Really, nothing like I have smelled before. Alcohol present in the aroma. Body is very light for such a strong beer, must be all the candi sugar. Goes down with no bitterness at all. An aftertaste of port-like alcohol remains. A very fine beer.

Lots of funk in this beer. The spice is light but there is enough weirdness to make me think I am drinking a saison. No mustard flavor. Cloudy orange with no head but significant sediment. Light sweetness. Lots of yeast in the aroma and flavor. This is a smooth and light beer with good palate and it is very easy to drink. Not worth the original price of $4, but a bargain on clearance at $1.50.

Ligtht amber/orange.- white head. A little warm from the alcohol (10,5%). Again, like Johans other beers: spices, fruits. filling and a long finish. The carbonation is lively! A bit different from the average Belgium beer (experiences with pumpkin), but absolutely thrilling!
