1999 bottle from Dumdum! Deep dark brown with a raisinous aroma and traces of molasses. Sweet taste of malts with lightly acidic fruity taste. Rich creamy body. Unfortunate demise!

Dark golden lager with a steady head a quite strong and dry aroma, and quite a dry, malty and chemical flavour. Overall not too bad, quite a typical strong European lager.

2003 bottle. Pours a lightly red tinged-amber gold. Rapidly disipating white head. Smells of hay, slightly stale pils malt and other sharp grains. Flavor is pretty watery throughout; a mix of old hops, no bitterness. Light watery malt, hints of honey sweetness drowned out by more stale hops. Hmm, this isnt goin too well. Drinking it chilled. Letting it warm up proves to be no better. Just a bad all around stale and boring flavor that has no real interesting notes. They comprimise flavor and complexity for strength in the extreme here. I’d much rather have a lighter bodied pils that had some crispness, fresh hops and a solid malt base. No need for this beer, let’s have the porter again. . .

Quite good for a european strong lager. Clear golden color, short dying head. Aroma is alcoholic, grassy, vinegar. Taste is not really alcoholic, but more soft malty and bitter. Still European Strong Lager suck big time.

Subtle sweet aroma - orange straw color. Sweet taste - reminscent of molasses (treacle). Personally too sweet for me but an okay beer.

An orange beer with a fine airy white head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of malt, grass, grain, brewing cereal, alcohol and hints of hops. The flavor is very simple, sweet malty with notes of alcohol, metal, sirup, and some hop bitterness in the end before an afterburn from the alcohol sets in. The body is quite nicely filling.

The aroma is very sweet malty. The color is dark yellow and it has a fine bubbly head. The flavor is very sweet - must be lots of left over sugar in it. But the taste palate is very slim, it is malty, and hoppy both most from aroma hops, but also some bitterness in the end. The body is somewhat thin. This is a good thirst quencher but nothing else.

For me, O.K. Beer was not OK, it was quite bland. Very average, but crisp golden color with light fluffy head. Lots of lacing. Nothing special about the smell, a bit cheap and sour. Tastes like flat feer with metallic twinges all over the place. Maybe I got a bad one? Virtually no carbonation other than the head. Very flat and watery mouthfeel. I won't have this one again. Maybe I got a bad one, but it sure didn't make me want to try it again.
