Bottle. The color is slightly hazy reddish brown with a big creamy beige head. The aroma is very careful with hints of leather, wood and toffee. More tasteful at least with sweet tones of caramel, bread, wood, coffee, grassy hops and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Incredibly light aroma, decent taste, and pretty sweet ale.

500ml bottle bought at Meny Oslo City. A bubbly, solid, tan-coloured head slowly declining over a deep, dark brown coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Smell of earth, wood and sulfur. Unbalanced and rather strange taste of roasted dark malts, salty liquorice and sulfur. Possible to drink perhaps, but I did not empty the bottle (Tromsø 08.01.2016).

Donkergeel tot licht rood bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig, bitter hoppig en fruitig, zwarte thee smaak overheerst. erg goede IPA, gedronken in restaurant Blaa Bar & restaurant in Porsgrunn.

Bottle. A murky orange-brown beer topped by a big, dense beige head leaving some lacing. The aroma is mostly on the hoppy side, oranges, pine cones and some resins, with roasted malts, coffee hints and some cocoa hints. It’s full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, with flavors of oranges, pine cones, grass and roasted, cocoa-ish malts. Long finish. A quite decent brew, mellow and pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. 151231

Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, hay, bark, toast, nuts, grass, caramel, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and mineraly mouthfeel. Kind of boring.

Blended taste of stewed fruits, pine and brown malts. Rounded bittersweet ending. Fine bodied. Nice (session with guest Skinnyviking, djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 07.12.2015).
