750mL corked bottle shares by friend. Pale color. Aroma is very appley and lots of herbal, too much herbal. Slightly thick and thin mouthfeel. A very strong spice that lightens the sweetness but is awkward. Not great.

Bottle pour at Specjale Regionalne. Huge, intense honey and raspberry or blackberry nose. Wonderful. I thought she had brought be the raspberry mead she mentioned, but no, just honey hwere. Fruity, lvoely flavor, tons of sweet berries. Fruitiness balances out the sweetness and it is not cloying, just simply lovely. Amazing how these fruit flavors were achieved. The best of 4 great meads tonights.

2011 bottle pour at Specjale Regionalne. Woody, spicy, resinous nose, menthol, juniper or spurce, wow. Honey too a little. Wild stuff. Thick, rich, resiny and woody, rosemary and spruce. Thick, rich, sweet, and resinous. Austure woodiness is fascintating. So intense that it is hard to drink 100ml. Aweomse stuff though.

Bottle sample at Miodosytnia, pours a clear dark amber. Nose brings out honey nectar, with toffee, treacle and syrup. Flavour is loaded with butterscotch, with lots of honey nectar, intense butterscotch, and alcohol. Cloyingly sweet, with an unbelievable amount of honey sweetness. Brutal and difficult to drink, even for the style. It's syrup. Fun stuff, but a tough one to handle.

Bottle sample at Miodosytnia, pours a clear amber. Nose brings out treacle, light honey nectar and some warming effect. Flavour is fairly laid back, with honey nectar, alcohol, and some treacle. A bit watered down and lacking depth. Still, a good product.
