0,5l bottle from Bar Keeper, enjoyed @ home. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is fruity malts. Flavor is fruity bitter malts with some pine and a hoppy finish. Good.

0,44l from bottle bought at Satara Rest Camp Shop in Kruger National Park. Copper clear color, small off white head. Smells pines, soapy, spices, tobacco, light honey. Decent smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes tobacco, pines, bit peppery, earthy, herbal, resin. Finishes light to medium bitter with notes of pines, resin and peppery notes. Very old school, rather heavy body, still rather drinkable though

0,44l from bottle bought at Satara Rest Camp Shop in Kruger National Park. Straw Yellow hazy color, small white head. Smells overripe fruits, earthy, tobacco, some cloves, bubblegum. Nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes overripe fruits, earthy, spices, cloves, tobacco, bubblegum, light spices. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of bubblegum, tobacco and cloves. Pretty good one I like my wheat beer with a tad more body, but this is quite drinkable.

Bottle from a Windhoek bottle shop - many thanks, Anke! Clear yellow, stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of wheat, unripe apple, clove, grass, bread crust, lemon, soap. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, sourish wheat & citrus over a bready malt base. Grassy hoppy finish, gently spicy, more wheat notes. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Needs more estery 'goodness', feels like a Kristallweizen. But okay.

Bouteille 44cl rapportée d'Afrique du Sud, bue à Niamey, merci Fred.
No BB, mais un lot# L9254.
Trouble dorée voire orange, col voire blanc-cassé épais crémeux assez tenace.
Arôme est plaisant, fruité sur des notes agrumes le tout relevé par des effluves de malts sur la grillé. Retrouve un côté de citron vert, sève d'arbre, cône de houblons frais, effet de feuilles de thé rappelant le Rooibos.
Palais ets classique mais avec un caractère malté et houblonné fort plaisant. Notes sèches, malt pâle, grillé et fruité sur les agrumes. Note un côté de baies de genévrier, effet de 'cold brewed coffee', feuilles de thé sèches, pamplemousse, citron vert avec un retour d'agrumes et d'amertume sur la fin. Toujours en retrait un profil finement grillé-café.
