Aromas are an interesting blend of dark malt, roast, cocoa, spice and floral. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, cocoa comes out more and floral recedes. A hint of whiskey in the back. Full smooth body with just right carbonation. Very nice beer.

Served at a good temperature with a foamy, fluffy, billowy, off-white head that lasts and lots of lace. Color is a clear amber. Aroma is malt & hop; fairly mild. Flavor’s like nose and also fairly tame with hop up front followed by malt, quite dry, slight carbonic tang. Body is mouth filling and soft and carbonation also soft. Finish is like flavor, of average lenght, and very easy drinking. Good stuff.

Made for the Twin Cities market? A pils, hoo character is there but not a lot of it. Malt and a dry finish.

Bottle from the stout box shared with Paul. Inky black with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Big barrel notes with some roasty chocolate to counter.
