Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VII on 09/25/2015. Clear pale yellow-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a mellow fruit character and notes of herbal yeast and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden, small head. Sugar cane and marzipan up front. Very sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy sweet with dough and marzipan. Some hay and pineapple White pepper and honey in a mid bitter finish. Just too sweet and clumsy.

12oz bottle split three ways. This smelled and tasted like sweet, rasiny wet bread. Strong alcohol presence. But wet black dessert bread. Maybe something like this just needs a little bit of time. It wasn’t astringent or off putting, just a but too sweet. Low hops.

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours clear orange with a large thick cream head. Aroma of citrus, pine, resinous hops, orange peel, caramel, malt and wood. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Trübes orangegelbes Bier mit einer großen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, kräftig hopfig, Vanille. Geschmack nach Vanille, sehr hopfig, Karamell, reife Früchte, dezent bitter.
