Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter wonderfull finish. Creamy palate.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Clear medium to dark orange color, medium sized off-white to lightly beige colored head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, hops, a hint of oranges and slightly a hint of resin. Taste malts, some hops have lingered but it’s no longer recognizable as a double IPA, the barrel aging kind of killed it as happens most of the time with barrel aged hoppy beers. Decent bitterness, but barrel aging hoppy beers? No, doesn’t work for me.

On tap at Uber Tavern, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly fuzzy, with funky vegetal notes and strange herbal qualities. Flavour is fairly fruity, with herbal notes, a light vegetal quality and strange citrusy hoppiness. What a strange IIPA - there's no way this could be what they were going for. A miss.

12 ounce bottle - mostly clear gold - minimal lace - nose is highly sweet, with some caramelized sugars, tropical fruit, light muskiness, mild dusty yeast and phenilocs, alcohol - a bit thin in the mouth - flavor is a bit sweet up front and gets pretty boozy and hot through the finish - the middle is decent, with some tropical estery character, moderate bitterness, white pepper, floral hop notes - overall though, it’s pretty weak.

Bottle courtesy of Ruben and shared with the Shape crew. Brune foncée, col blanc-cassé. Arôme au bouquet juste superbe alliant le très bon côté complexe de rhum et barrique sur des éléments typiques d’horchata surtout sur un rétro épicé de cannelle, fine dose de lactose. Palais est malté, caramel superbe surtout dont la manière de mettre ne avant le rhum. Ce dernier prend bien sa place sur ce côté mexicain de l’horchata qui garde une note douce, épicée avec un agréable chocolaté et cannelle. Le rhum est à sa place avec un côté tropical qui sied parfaitement à recréer le profil de cette boisson du sud.
