bottle, thank you MoritzF. Clear pale golden yellow, large white head. Aroma of hops and citrus-fruit. Light-bodied, flavours of malt and citrus-resiny hops. The finish is pleasantly hoppy. Quite nice for a low-alcohol beer, and very refreshing.

Bottle: Golden, restrained carbonation, mid-sized fluffy white head; almost pure frainy nose with a strawy tinge; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour with a light acidity, light bodied; malty-bitter finish with a lemony touch. Not really convincing.......

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly molassy toast-malty aroma with caramel and a light hoppy shine in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Solid roasty malty base with caramel and light notes of liquorice And herbal hops; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter toasty malty finish with herbal and grassy hoppy notes. Quaffable, quite hoppy example of the style (08.05.08).

(swing top bottle) Clear, brown colour with a fluffy beige head. Moderately sweet toast-malty nose with caramel, sour dough and a subtle fruity touch, accompanied by herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium, slightly crispy carbonation. Roast-malty, quite burnt taste with caramel and light liquorice-like, herbal spice; dry and bitter, slightly hoppy finish with hints of caramel and coffee in the aftertaste. Not a perfectly rounded brew but clean and pretty tasty enough (01.05.08).

Malziger Antrunk, wenig süß, dafür deutlich herb. Frisch, etwas getreidig, angenehm.
