(swing top bottle) Clear, brown colour with a fluffy beige head. Moderately sweet toast-malty nose with caramel, sour dough and a subtle fruity touch, accompanied by herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium, slightly crispy carbonation. Roast-malty, quite burnt taste with caramel and light liquorice-like, herbal spice; dry and bitter, slightly hoppy finish with hints of caramel and coffee in the aftertaste. Not a perfectly rounded brew but clean and pretty tasty enough (01.05.08).

Malziger Antrunk, wenig süß, dafür deutlich herb. Frisch, etwas getreidig, angenehm. Test vom 28.11.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,13,12,13,11,13 - 12,75

Malty, slightly toasted, moderately wheaty taste with a light yeasty tartness and a moderate fruit-character; slightly slim and short, fruity and slightly clovy finish. All in all okay, refreshing Dunkelweizen.
