Can at the source. A orange coloured pour with a loose off greyish head. Aroma is semi sweet. Fooral hedgerow hop, honeysuckle, nutty maltd Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts dired fruits, mellow grassy hop. Mineral. Palate is drying grass, moderate fine carbonation.

Can at the source. A hazed reddish amber coloured pour with a loose beige cap. Aroma is nutty malts, waxy, grass, dried fruits, hazelnut. Flavour is composed of semi sweet toasted malts, nutty toast, twig, chalky finish, dried fruits. Palate is drying chalky finish. Mineral finish.

Can at the Moxy. Dark, clear golden, receding fine white head . Fruity, malty aroma, apples. Taste is malty, sweet, toffee, light fruity flavors and a razor thin hoppy back end.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Gluten Free. Amber gold colour thin bubbly white head and aroma of flowers, fruits, woody. Taste is malt, caramel, roasty, floral, with some fruity notes, and woody, spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying spicy tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

27/1/2023. Cask at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear pale amber with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, biscuit, bread, sweet fruits, straw. Quite sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation. Nicely balanced bittersweet finish came through. Quite decent.

27/1/2023. Cask at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear very dark brown with a small bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dried fruits, light ash. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Slightly creamy, very soft carbonation. Solid stout.
