Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a clear, orangey amber with a lacing, off-white head. Christmas cookie aroma, very intese spiciness. Rich, malty body, caramel and Belgian yeast accents. Subdued bitterness. These spice bombs are never gonna be my favorites, but for what it is, it's actually quite well made. 300920

bottle. hazy brown orange, white head. aroma is quite malty, bitter malts, mild hoppy note, not very american, a bit bitter but neither flowers or grapefruit or yellow fruits to speak of. a little sweetness that might remind me of almonds, apricot or marzipan. flavor is strangely sweet, again a bit like apricot, some flowers and then a sort of misguided hoppy bitterness that is classical european-lager hoppy bitter, with a tiny bit of flowery notes on top. This is not a very good rye ipa, or ipa as such, if you dig up a real ølfabrikken rug ipa, it will taste better than this, even though the ølfabrikken rug ipa would be like 10+ years old now. Good they at least released this in their GB brand so people would not think it's even a little bit close to the old rug ipa they do own the recipe for, but clearly do not want to brew.

75 Bottle, clearly enough for a tick. acc to bottle, made in belgium for harboe, same brewery as the other belgian beers? lively pour with lots of foam, but not a gusher just belgian temperament. clear yellow, smooth giant creamy white head. aroma is belgian yeast, flowers and some full-body notes that makes me think the abv might be high. also notes of wheat. flavor is flowery, a bit yeasty. fairly tasty belgian beer, as gourmetbryggeriet sometimes are quite cheap on offer, you might get yourself a decent belgian blonde'ish beer by going for this one.

bottle. Hazy yellow, white head. Aroma of yeast, rubbery eraser (the kind you have at the end of a pencil) a little lemongrassy and tea leaf bitterness towards the end. flavor is yeast, flowery hops as in a belgian blonde, quite mild, quite low on the lemongrassy citrussy bit, but otherwise a decent witbier, some notes of banana from the wheat. Not *that* bad.

bottle. hazy unclear brown, small very-light brown head. aroma of faint citrus, quite solid malts, some sweet notes, perhaps honey, some pine hoppy notes too not bad aroma for a low alc. flavor is malty, nutty, faint flowery. mineral watery.

hazy yellow, white head. belgian yeast, lemongrass, flowers in the aroma. sort of like a belgian tripel with a bit of belgian wit mixed in. aroma is fine though flavor is malty, flowery, belgian yeast, quite belgian. this is not really ipa'ish, but they might've put in a little bit of extra hops i don't know. tastes like any odd gouden carolus. well, typical belgian strong beer stuff, and made by het anker, it can't go all wrong, and it did not.

Hazy yellow, white head. Jerbal aroma, chamomille, hay, yeast. Similar flavour, some sweetness, not too much chamomille fortunately. Ok.
