clear caramelly brown, small light brown head.
aroma is malty, sweet malty, nutty malty, caramelly, very very faint fruity, faint "brunkager," "pebernødder" (brown cakes) coconut.. opens up a lot when it warms up. very good barleywine aroma. not US hoppy, this is the original kind of barleywine.
flavor is nutty malty, browncakes, browncake spices like cardemom, cinnamon, the flavor is somewhat more spicy than the aroma, it does feel like it was spiced up just too much, leaving the malts having a hard time showing off.

Vagamundo - Pale Ale 5.5%
Clear gold yellow beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty malty, grains, grassy, a bit herbal, a little fruity, malty touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit malty, pretty bitter, resinous hops, grassy, sweet malts. Aftertaste: very bitter, grassy hops, nice malty touch, more hoppy bitterness, good stuff!

Vagamundo - Irish Red 5.4%
Clear orange to amber beer, creamy beige yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, some caramel. MF: lively carbon ,medium body. Taste: very malty start, a bit sweet, caramel notes, gentle acidity, some roast, hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: hoppy, a bit resinous, fruity touch, sweet, some cow fodder, good bitterness in the end.

Clear gold blond beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of marijuana, hoppy, grassy, a little fruity, juicy. Mf: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, grassy, hoppy, a bit malty, a little cheesy, funky, grapefruit. Aftertaste: very bitter, hoppy, grassy, resinous hops, citrus, bit chemical.

Bottle drunk on the balcony in Tenerife. Amber with nice head. Super citrus nose, nice full bodied mild caramel with well balanced bitterness. Light pine and big citrus, a tasty package!
