Description
Team Toxic, led by Gazza Prescott, is a commissioner of beers producing a range of sometimes eccentric, one-off brews as well as some core brands. Some beers appear under Gazza's own Mission Creep label. No isinglass is used in any of the beers, some of which are made in collaboration with other breweries. Gazza likes bitter, hoppy pale ales and experimenting with beer styles and ingredients often influenced by his travels.

Cask at GRAF. Hazy orange with a bubble white head. Flavour and aroma are basically liquid hops, a little dusty, and very bitter citrus. Not much else going on

Cask @ The Abbey. Hazed golden yellow appearance, small white head. Bit musty (but seemingly not from the beer) with a creamy oaty influence, pleasant fruity shades, peachy hints. Extra points for the PWEI reference.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours hazy gold, small white head. Floral, fruity nose. Fruity grapefruit to taste with a robust hoppy bitterness and mild earthiness emerging. Decent.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours a hazed amber with small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, malty. Taste is confidently bitter, hoppy, resinous... almost more akin to an old school west coast pale than a hoppy red ale. Decent.

Cloudy gold, semi-murky really, with a creamy/frothy white head and tangerines and grapefruit on the nose. Smooth and semi-creamy, it has a big citrusy bitterness and some sweet fruity notes, before a dry finish

Cask at Crewe Dog. This is a LIGHT mild. Pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Malts and vanilla together in the aroma, plus traces of oranges. Harsh grains at first in the mouth, but soon sweet malts shine through. Orange and a hint of cinnamon too. Finish a sweet and fruity. Nice to see a beer of such a rare style – but really it’s not very exciting.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours black, with a good creamy collar. Aroma has roast, mild lactose. Taste is fairly light bodied with gentle vanilla and lactose suggestions.. expected a creamier body and more vanilla for the name, prominent roasted malt. Perhaps not at it's freshest, but ok for what it is.
