Bottled (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Brownish black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, toffee, some mild alcohol and a bit acidic wooden notes. Flavour is sweet liquorice, chocolate and some nutty and alcohol notes.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, brown sugar, almond oil, lactose, vanilla, a hint of oranges. Very sweet flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, also a hint of pine needles. Warming alcohol throatfeel.

Bottle, backlog June 2018. Clear deep golden body under a dense tan head. Mild aroma with malt, some fruit, spices like cinnamon. Taste goes in the same direction, light and easy with mild malty and fruity flavors, slightly spicy. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Not very exiting this.

Dark amber with off white head - Malt aroma with some caramel - Malt body with caramel flaovur with some coffee flavour in the back with some bitterness - The malt with roasted coffee goes into the finish with some bitterness - This was good

Can at home. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a creamy beige head. Aroma of nuts, rye bread, vinegums, chocolate truffles, rubber, cocoa and some smoke. Flavour of ash, roasted malt, dark chocolate and leather. Has a soft mouth feel, full-bodied and with a medium bitternes. Well roasted and well balanced. Not so much pastry but a solid imperial stout.

Can shared with VH, MP and HG at decentralised yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen in Kristiansund 12.12.20. Dark brown. Some pale brown head. Very sweet taste of dark caramel, dark candy sugar, juniper, fresh pine shoots and green coffee.
