Corked 75cl bottle, a gift from my son Ben and Steph his girlfriend, drank at home on 30th September 2024, shared with Ben and Mike, a friend from Somerset. Purple, reddy body, no head. Semi-sour with a blackcurrent overtone to the apple flavours.

Half-pint @ Shrewsbury Food Festival 2015. Pours a hazy piss yellow. Aroma is light lemon. Taste is surprisingly dry with a white-wine character & some lemon alongside apple skins & core. Different but not fruity enough for me.

500ml bottle from the producer @ Ludlow Spring Fest May 14, drunk in the garden one sunny evening. Pours clear gold with apple juice aroma. Very dry, almost bitter tannins.. very rough tasting like being dragged through a floral nettle bush face first, with some fizzy lemonade and kiwi fruit to quell the pain after.
