Pours clear blonde, huge white head. Head keeps building up. Smell is malty, bit sweet. Taste is sweet, malty, full-on grain, very soft body, Lovely, as far as the style of tripel goes for me.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours rather unclear blonde. Big white head grows out of the glass, and is 100 % stable. Smell is bit yeasty, with a fine bitter touch to it. Taste is very sharp, with a fine but intense bitterness. Almost got a sourness to it as well. Very overcarbonated ( after pouring a small glass the bottle overflows with foam) Aftertaste has a note of sweetness, almost honey-like, over the sharpness from the combo of what appears to be a mixture of bitterness with a sour touch. Not sure if this is ment to be a bit sour, but it does work for what its worth. Good beer, but after tasting the bersalis oak aged, this is just a shadow of the quality oud beersel can accomplish.

Bottle. Slow gusher. Bright clear golden color, massive white head with good retention, champagne bubbles. Aroma of freshly cut hay, light fruit, subtle white pepper. Taste is peppery, lemony, straw. Sweet. Very hi carbonation interferes with the mouthfeel. OK.

Bottle. Massive perpetual gusher. Hazy bright golden color, massive off white head. Aroma of huge peppery dust, attic corners and rotted fruit. Taste is funky, fruity, sweet. Tasty.

Tasting at Matt’s; corked bottle; vintage 2013; best before 11/2020
The cork opens with a loud noise; hazy golden color with generous frothy head. Strange aroma of vegetables and some fruit. Highly carbonated, with a feeling of unfinished honey beer, mildly sour, a lot of unexpected residual sugars, boozy.
Weird, you could like it, you could hate it; I go for the middle way.

Tasting at Matt’s; corked bottle; vintage 2013; best before 11/2020
The bottle opens with a loud noise, but it’s not gushing; it has a deep blond color, hazy to cloudy, with large compact head. The aroma is very corky, a bit funky and lemony. Highly carbonated and very dry; astringent, lightly lemony in a good way, some lactic acid apparently, and almost no apparently.
Interesting although not the best.

Bottle courtesy mcberko. Hazy tan. This has a slightly toasty, sweet nose...lots of malt. The yeast is more muted on the nose. Quite sweet, a fair bit of alcohol like underfermented.

Bottle courtesy mcberko. Hazy light tan. Does not hold a head. Slightly toasty aroma, hints of biscuity pale malts. Light champagney character, hints of biscuit. Interesting.

Bottle - Sweet yeasty and stone fruit. Cleanish gold with a decent white head. Syrupy and tons of stone fruit and honey. Meh.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out notes of rotting apples, candied sugar, and Belgian yeast -- strange nose. Flavour is thankfully quite a bit better, with browned apples cores, Belgian yeast, and candied sugar. Not as complex or pleasant as the Session Triple, but still quite nice. Still quite good.
