Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per orzo, luppolo e fruttato. L'olfatto viene sollecitato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è di persistenza lunga. Il liquido offre una visione offuscata. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione è allegra e vivace. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è strutturato pesante. L'amaro è deciso. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato si fermano sentori di caramello, miele, pane, cereali, frutta secca, pane tostato, luppolo, resina, agrumi e frutta candita. Alcol presente e invadente.

On tap. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta note di caramello, miele, frutta secca e frutta passita.

On tap. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso luppolo, speziato e sentori tropicali. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è fine. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma trova miele, frutta secca, luppolo ed erba.

Bottle. Yeasty aroma with esters, fruity notes, pale malt, spicy notes with coriander, some citrus, touch of orange peel. Flavour is above medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty good Tripel, estery and fruity.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is malt with soft hoppy notes, yeast, bit spicy, caramel, some orange and pine, bit floral. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Nicely hopped Belgian Ale.

Bottle from Mitra Assendorp, Zwolle. Brown malt aroma with caramel, cocoa, toffee, soft dried fruit. Bit tartish, moderate to medium sweet. Medium body. Fairly Belgian Stout, some nice malts and chocolate. Not complaining!

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is yeasty and fairly fruity with malt, spicy and estery notes, sugary fruits. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Nothing special but pretty decent Tripel overall.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is citrussy hop with yeasty notes, floral with bubblegum. Plenty of orange, some coconut, malt, light tropical. Flavour is fairly bitter with a little sweetness. Medium body. Definitely how I like my Belgian-style IPA. Surprisingly good.
