Can pour (canned no later than mid December, ‘19) from Twelve Percent, North Haven. Appearance is opaque yellow (juicy) with no sparkle, ring of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is sweet lemon (like a meringue pie) and maybe a hint of pineapple. Taste is sweet lemon and light pineapple as aroma but balanced by a pretty strong bitter. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, nice aroma and flavor, so enjoyable, though hard to find the base blonde/golden ale here. Drinks more like a good session IPA.

Can spilt by tfontana, thanks Tom! Another CT brewery! Moderate tropical citrus aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are light mango, pineapple-ish, and piney hop. Real good for the style.

Can (purchased fresh 11/13/19) pour from Twelve Percent Project, North Haven, CT. Appearance is opaque yellow-light brown with no sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, hint of herb and background grains. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation with lively kick at the end, and crisp, dry finish as taste with lingering pleasant mild bitterness. Overall, aroma and taste more reminiscent of NEIPA/DIPA, with some malt presence keeping it somewhat in the APA range. Regardless, it's tasty!

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Big dank nose with pineapple, mineral, tangerine pith and mango underneath. Good tropical fruit notes on the palate with more dank, a touch of green hops and lingering pine and papaya. --- Beer merged from original tick of Eager To Share on 29 Dec 2019 at 17:45 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Pour is a murky and hazy orangeish with a large white head. Aroma is fantastic. Pineapple and passion fruit hops that I can smell without bringing the glass to my nose. Flavor is a little bit thin but you get plenty of tropical fruit with a little green onion at the end. Wonderful little pale ale from a new brewer. The only thing I would recommend is putting a canned on date on the can.
