Description

75 cl. bottle sampled @ GBF 2013. Hazy amber orange with a tiny creamy off-white head. Nose is full of Citrus, USA hops, very fruity, grapefruit and touch of hay. Taste is a blast of USA hops, citrus, quite juicy with some sweet yeast, slight sugar and touch exotic fruits in the back. Very easy to drink. Straightforward and delicious, way better than the previous Sorachi Ace version which apparently was infected. Thx! to the RB Crew for sharing.

bottle at gents bierfestival . damn, they have a sorachi version ? why the hell dindt i have that one yet ? this one wins the price for the best name ! and most enjoyable . maybe not the best beer of the event, but in full sunlight, outside, in a 2>5 -ish degrees, this is EXACTLY what i wanted . awsomeness ! pours amber, almost no head. smell is hoppy , floral . very refreshing, aromatic hops . light, so a very good drinkability . good carbo . maybe not THE most rememorable IPA , but if you have the chance on getting this, in good weather, do not doubt for one moment and drink the shit out of this !

Bouteille: Golden, almost clear, smaller stable white head with a little lace, a subdued herbal-hoppy background is detectable in the fruity-yeasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, relatively soft; sweet-yeasty finish, accompanied by ruiny of aromatic hops. Drinkable, but no glory…

Good, dense, whipped eggwhite-like yellowish head over coppery-golden beer with a cold haze. Citrussy and catty hops. Bit of autumn leaves, hazel(nut)oil. And definitely lots of valerian/cata’s pee. Bitterish-leafy-earthy flavours. The cattiness doesn’t manifest itself so clearly in the mouth, although it still hovers there retronasal. Not really very fruity. Lunaria, maybe, or unripe peach/nectarine. Well-carbonated, slick, medium bodied. Not bad at all.

75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Martinus and Joes. Slightly unclear orange color, small to medium sized white head. Smell malts, a bit sweet, a bit flowery. Taste malts, sweetness, again blossom and flowers with a sweet-bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all.
