Draft at Delirium Beer Festival at Delirium Amsterdam. Black with a thick tan head. Aroma of after eights, mint chocolate, caramel and herbs. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with with light carbonation.

Bottled 330ml. from Bierkoning Amsterdam. Almost black coloured, medium sized brownish head, mild coffee and hops in the nose. Roasted malt, cocoa, light coffee, notes of hops and discreet thyme with alcohol well hidden. Mild roasty bitter finish. Pleasant one.

Clear pale blond colour with lasting head. Aroma has lime zest and is quite floral. Flavour has some green grapes and dustiness.

Fles geprobeerd bij Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven met Roelzie1986. Het is een roodbruin bier met een volle schuimkraag welke snel weg ebt. Het heeft een geur van gedroogd fruit. De smaak is moutig en zacht zoet met tonen van rozijnen en caramel.

Bottled 330ml (from Bierkoning, Amsterdam)
Dark brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is bready with caramel and hints of honey, touch of alcohol too. Medium-bodied. Soft palate. Rye bready flavour, some raisins, caramel and honey. Probably a bit aged bottle, alcohol in the flavour is down. A bit madeira-like. Short watery finish. Nice dessert beer.

Light gushing. Small, fast going yellow-beige head over fully hazy red to lightbrown beer. Good carbonation, end of bottle explosion of UFO's. Fruity nose, vegetal, herbal but with a fruity, sweet smell and lightly roasted. Bit gassy nose too. Sourish-fruity flavour, light sweetness, quite agreable. Exotic, not weird. I would have guessed apple, different berries, etc. Never ate coffeefruit, I'm afraid. Some flavour akin to cacaopowder, if sweeter. Light, also by the acidity and the spritzy carbonation. Some slickness; not a very long aftertaste. Nice & original, like it!
