Sample at the taproom during the Pretentious' 2nd Anniversary Party! on 10/12/2019. Clear dark reddish-mahogany color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of bourbon, fruit and honey. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, floral honey, tart fruit and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a bourbon and fruity honey aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle shared. Thanks Jon! Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Cinnamon forward nose with graham and peach aromas. Peach, cinnamon, allspice and graham on the palate with a touch of vanilla as it warms. Smooth with a crisp and clean carbonation underneath. Lingering peach, vanilla and cinnamon. Very much a peach cobbler sour. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pretentious Hates Peach on 10 Jan 2020 at 23:25 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. On tap at Peders, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of lacto, with gentle dry hopping. Flavour is well-balanced, with dry hopping, lacto, and a hint of citrus. Low on acidity, high on the lacto. Pleasant stuff.

Dullish brown, no head. Lots of pia on the nose, and sweet pineapple up front, mild tartness, then the bourbon kicks in substantially.

Sample at Streetside during That’s My Jam: A Fruited Beer Festival on 06/22/2019. The beer is a hazy bronze-amber color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Peaches, yeast and malt in the nose. Medium body with a tart peach character and flavors of mildly funky yeast, and doughy malt. The finish is tart and funky peaches. Good beer overall.

1/8, super passionfruit tartness upfront, lactose addition is weird and seems unnecessary.

This brew is a clear dark copper-brown color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of tart peaches, coffee, yeast and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of stone fruit, roast coffee, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart apricots and peaches with underlying bittersweet coffee. Good beer all around.
