Dark amber body topped by a thin foamy head, white bubbles and nice laceworks on the glass. Light sweety malt in aroma. Blend of sweet malts and hop bitterness in flavour. Alright (enjoyed in relaxing surroundings at The Lamb & Flag, Oxford 15.03.2008).

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 25 Jan 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with dark fruit, oranges and nuts. Malty taste with dark fruit and oranges, rather modest bitterness in the finish. Malt sweetness shines through all the way. A decent bitter, but not really exciting.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber. Aroma and flavour of roasty sunflower seeds. Medium sweet and light-medium bodied, somewhat sloppy un-firm mouthfeel. Medium bitterness.

Cask Conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm
Hazy golden color; persistent thin head; sticky lace. The aroma takes some time to appear, but then it shows some very good hops, delicate, floral, fruity, and with a touch of peanuts. Good mouthfeel, due to the sweetness (more than the average Golden Ale), despite the probably low gravity; it has a crispy malt flavor, very fresh, with an excellent hopping and a touch of peanuts too. Delicate, elegant, complex and satisfactory Ale; excellent.

Draught at The Cove, Covent Garden, London. A light golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light citrusy notes, but also an acidity that reminds me of brewing cereal of some kind. The flavor is sweet with notes of brewing cereal and malt, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Cask at The Cove, Covent Garden, London. A hazy golden beer with a thick off-white head. The aorma is sweet with light malty notes. The flavor is sweet with citrusy notes as well as light notes of wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is thin, and all in all it is boring.

500ml bottle. Golden beer, lasting thin off white hea.d Nutty. Some earthiness. Very over carbonated. Very harsh. Don’t know what to say. The bubbles make it metallic and hard to drink, the earthy nutty aroma, also doesn’t endear. Stewed rhubarb flavour. Odd aroma. Not off, just not pleasant.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Amber colour with frothy off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, dark fruit and dusty hops. Malty taste with toffee, dusty hops, a hint of sewgae and wild berries. Fairly thin body. Decent, but rather boring.
