Bottle from Asda, High Wycombe. Deep, dull gold with a white head and middling fizz. Pleasant lemon and peach up front. Descends into a rather dull caramel finish. Quite sweet; could do with a lot more crispness in the finish. So-so overall.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a hazy orange-brown with a small cream head. Has a faint aroma of fruits mixed with oranges and malts. In the mouth the overwhelming sensation is how watery it is. There’s a barley sugar sweetness and underneath it all are some nuts and toffee. An acrid sharpness as well – I suspect this example not in the best condition. Will need to rerate.
