Can, very pale pink colour, ripe apples and some sweet spices, sweet but not heavy. Nice and fun.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury's, Darlington. Clear golden colour, foamy white head that slowly dissipates and aroma of apple, floral note, with hints of skin and core. Taste is sweetish, apple, tangy, lightly acidic, with some core and slight tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying tangy & light tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

ABV: 7.4%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is apple, apple skin, yellow apples, sweet apples. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, apple, yellow apples, sweet apples, dry apple, medium dry to dry, refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 500ml bottle from Asda online. It pours clear very pale gold with a fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, rotten fruit, musty, light manure, overly ripe, white sugar, apple crumble with custard, apple skin and a touch of red fruits. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, snappy, apple, skin, light tannin, crunchy red apple, kick of heady alcohol, touch of acidity, white sugar, over ripe apples, apple skin and some rawness/sharpness with a dry, fairly boozy finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Has some decent elements to it - the crispness and crunchy apple, but it is all over the place and has some roughness. Not bad cold but as it warmed more of a challenge.

Bottle from Asda I think. It pours oily amber with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, brown bread, stewed apple, some spice, apple pie & custard, brown sugar and apple skin. The taste is sweet, juicy, crunchy apple, apple juice from concentrate, apple pie, touch of oak tannin, brown sugar, some custard and some leafiness with a short, sweet finish. Medium body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Fairly sweet and one dimensional. Drinks ok though.

500ml bottle: BB 14th November 2025. Shared with my son Ben at my place on 15th February 2024. Nice strong cider with a clean golden body, it's a sipper!

Bottle from Asda Supermarket, Manchester. Golden with a light carbonation. Decent medium-sweet apple taste with its feature - its barrel ageing coming to the fore in its aftertaste.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Bright pink with faint fizzy head. Aroma of bubblegum and sweetened apple juice. Very sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Sweetened apple juice from concentrate, some decomposing vegetables. Industrial cider in all its glory.
