Thatchers cider has been made on Myrtle Farm since 1904.

lol... a cider radler.. aroma of lemon juice with a somewhat artificial sweet note to balance. The aroma is quite refreshing and reminds me of low alc beer with lemon aroma/flavor. Flavor is truly strange. If I was blind tasting this, i would guess german radler, the apple is not strong in this one, and could be mistaken for malty sweetness. Drinkable, enjoyable, but not a cider and not a beer, closest flavor relative must be a german radler.

Bottle at home, can't recall from where, 04/05/24. Golden copper with a good sized off white cap for a cider. Nose is orchard wood, apple skins, bitter apple, straw. Taste comprises toffee apple, orchard earth, sugar dusting, apple skins, bitter sweet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent enough drop.

500ml can from Yamaya. Pours a slightly greenish gold with lots of effervescence. Sweet apple nose, a bit tannic, simple. Sweet flavor, light tartness, some green apple, very light bitterness, a bit candy-like. Simple all around but nice enough to quaff. medium carbonation. Smooth body.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear golden, small head. Aroma of mashed apples. Full sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Ripe sweet apples, mildly musky. Some apple skin bitterness and mild alcohol.

On tap. Pours a hazy pale hay color with a little whir foam. Aromas of dried apples. Flavors of sugary ripe apples.

440 ml can from Yamaya. First time seeing Thatcher's in Japan. Tart, light nose with some sweet apple and peel. Pale greenish yellow, fizzy at first, then lace. Sweet and simple flavor, light citrus, light peel, very little tannin, lightly tart. After taste is a bit sweet. Light and easy.

Bottle from Asda Supermarket, Manchester. Golden coloured. Fairly sweet, although not entirely. Pretty flavoursome apple too.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury's, Darlington. Clear golden colour, foamy white head that slowly dissipates and aroma of apple, floral note, with hints of skin and core. Taste is sweetish, apple, tangy, lightly acidic, with some core and slight tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying tangy & light tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
