Bottle in Pillars House Hotel, Glasslough County Monaghan, 23/01/23. Golden amber with an off white head, carbonation evident. Nose is sweet apple, caramel, sugars. Taste comprises much the same ... overly sweet and mass produced all over ... not worth overthinking the column inches. Medium bodied, light sprtizy carbonation, semi drying close. Meh.

275ml bottle from the Low Cost Beer online shop. I too am surprised this is still commercially available. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet apple and something woody. Taste is sweet apple juice and an unpleasant chalkiness. Sweet finish.

Amazed this is still for sale in 2022. I've not had since around 1977. Beige collar on a clear amber coloured body. Apple, citrus & woody aroma. Medium bodied, no carbonation & nothing on the back. Sweet, saccharin, fake apple & grainy tastes. This actually made me shiver when I tasted it. Very poor.

Apfelschorle mit Stich. Trink ich am liebsten im Irish Pub. Recht (vergoren) fruchtig, nicht so süß wie Bulmers, nicht so gerbsäurelastig wie mancher Äppelwoi. Spritzig genug um lebendig zu sein. Kann man den ganzen Abend trinken, ohne das es langweilig wird.

Appearance: Clear pale red with a small pinkish frothy head of low retention. Aroma and taste: Red apples, berry hints, distant yeast. Light sweet and sour. Mouth feel: Light body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: Absolutely inoffensive.
