I thought this stuff was decently good. Poured from a large can. Small, fizzy, white head that goes away quickly. Deep clear gold color. Aroma of dry apples and sweetness. Taste is sweet and pretty dry. Not bad, goes down well.

(On tap) NZ version made by Bulmer Harvest in Gisborne. Clear, pinkish with a small, white head. Distinct apple aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet but very clean apple notes with a vague, underlying acidity. A very decent and quaffable cider. 060208

Bottle from Tesco, Bicester, 10-11-07 Poured light golden, very fizzy. Aroma quite artifical, very sacchriney as was the taste, really sweet just another alcopops launched no doubt to counteract the Kopparberg dominance of this sector of the market.

26/10 0.3 l draught at Tolkiens House. Well, the waiter said it is Strongbow but as clumsy they are I believe more to Doggythedog whose opinion is this is a Woodpecker. Anyway, yellow body without head. Some white wine aroma. Flavor, too empty, winy, watery... Some carbonation though. Finish short, as Doggythedog told me everything is short...Drinkable but nothing more. If this was my first cider I would simply hate the style...
