50 cL can. Apple cider aroma. Brassy gold color with a white head that ringed immediately. Thin to medium bodied, with mild, nearly creamy, carbonation. The taste is of apple juice that has been cooked or pasteurized, with some apple skin bitter/sour for companionship. It starts a bit sweet, shifts to sour, and the mouth is left with apple to the rear and astringency elsewhere. Drinkable stuff.

Apple, baby food, and yeast aroma. Clear golden color. Dry apple flavor, but not as much as I expected. Also a bit like a perry. Watery finish.

500 ml Can. A golden cider with a thin light white head. Aroma of apples and light sulfur. In mouth, tart apples diluted in water, decent carbonatation. Overall, run of the mill. Canned 30-09-05. Bought in March 2006, Halifax.

568 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. In addition to apple juice, ingredients include "glucose syrup, water, sugar, carbon dioxide, acid: E296, antioxidant: E224 (sulphites), colour: E120". Recommended to "serve over ice". In other words: this is an industrial cider. Pours fizzy with a large white head that actually stays around a while (probably designed to make people think you are drinking lager). Strange aroma of rotting and fermenting apples + some undefined and unpleasant chemical stuff. The flavour is fairly sweet and synthetic with very little to write home about. Pretty bad.

Bottle. Amber with a white head. Slightly sour, yeasty aroma. Sweet apple flavours, with a sharp edge. Slightly too sweet for me.

Apple and mystery meat aroma. Very light yellow color thin mouthfeel. Mystery of the meat is solved as it tastes of pork that has turned. Dreadful! To its credit, the balance between sweet and tart was nice, but I can’t get past the rancid meat. To be fair, I had tried it before and don’t recall it being this bad. Even then I didn’t consider it a good cider, so I’ll let the rating stand.
