Description
The brewery was founded by craft beer pioneer Peter Austin. In 2007, Ringwood was purchased by Marston's. Marston's stated that they would keep the brewery in operation and continue producing the full range of Ringwood beers.

Copper colour. Vague grassy fruity aroma. Clean, rounded and filling mouthfeel. Light bodied. Discrete salty finish. A bit watery.

Dark brown. Nutty aroma. Sweet and roasty. rounded and rather clean. Discretely flavourful - some cocoa, some fruit. Low bitterness.

Dark amber. Neutral nose with a mere hint of orange. Sweet and lightly estery. Rouned and full bodied, sugary with some mandarines. Low bitterness. Discrete, but warming and well balanced.

Draught
Amber color. Light but nice hop aroma. Weak body structure, but a light malt and more interesting hop. Quite strong palate, enough aromatic.

Very dark red with rich head. Coffee aroma. Dry and salty with medium body, good balance and average bitterness.

Sampled cask conditioned. Pale amber coloured. Hay and flowers in the aroma. Light mouthfeel, initial sweetness. Salty, bitterish finish. A well balanced summer ale, and a lovely thirst quencher.
