Can at the hotel in Barcelona - picked up at a supermarket in Empuries. Pours lightly hazed yellow with a small, creamy white crown. Fairly sweet with a nice juicy lemon vibe, a little sugar, pale bread. Light bodied with one carbonation. Sweet finish, borderline sugary, more pale bread, lemon candies. Not bad.

Bottle at the flat in Cadaques - picked up from a supermarket in Empuries. Pours clear honey-gold with a modest, creamy white head. Light to medium sweet flavour with rich wheat bread character, a touch of honey, straw, yeast, banana. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more rich wheat bread, yeast, banana chips. Drinks fine overall.

Bottle at the hotel in Costa Brava. Picked up from a local supermarket. Pours clear, rich copper, effervescent, with a frothy, mostly white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of sun-kissed malts, a tiny accents of brown sugar, come rounded citrus, a little pine, mild bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Subtle piney resin to finish, more sun-kissed malts, vague citrus. Pretty well rounded and drinkable I think.

Can at the hotel in Costa Brava. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, notes of pale cereal, light husky grain, straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. OK balance to finish. Drinks fine.

Entre dorada y ámbar, con dos dedos de espuma bastante cremosa. Aroma poco definido, levadura presente. En boca tiene paso fácil, cremosa, seca, malteada, con notas frutales (albaricoque) y final de amargor entre moderado e intenso. Esconde razonablemente bien el alcohol. Mejor de lo que esperaba.

Dorada limpia de dos dedos de espuma de buena retención. Aroma cereal. En boca es ligera, algo aguada y de gas punzante, tolerable Sabor cereal de tono algo metálico. Lager del montón, que bien fría se bebe sin más.

33cl can from Mercadona. Pours Coca-Cola coloured with a modest, tanned head. Mild toasty aroma with hints of dark fruits and coffee. Moderate to medium sweet with rather low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Drinkable enough.

33cl bottle from Mercadona. Pours clear golden with a decent, white head. Mild malty aroma with slightly fruity notes and Belgian yeast. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a light bitterness in the finish. Fair enough.
