Bottled 2019, #891/1000, shared by Willrumforbeer on 8/9/25.
Thanks, Brian!
Clear mahogany, small, tan head.
Caramel, bourbon, light floral notes and moderate oak. Light chocolate light raisin. No booze.
Raisin, prune, vanilla and sweet bourbon with lots of pepper and soft caramel. A bit punchy-oaky with tons of lead. Not sweet, though. Very austere.

For me a great beer, not to drink so cold, after some sips subtle aromas of oak, vanilla, sweet, warm alcool, hop, powerful, 22.11.19, at my rented house, Hoofdroop, Amsterdam, lovely with a old Dutsch cheese.

19.2 ounce can from19.2 ounce can from Woodman's Menominee Falls, 7/30/25 (by less than a minute). Hazy orange, medium tan head, average retention. Aroma of melon, dank, and that hay note I get from so many IIPAs these days. Taste is melon, tangerine, dank, onion. Moderate bitter, well balanced. Solid. Bottle shared by Jan & Charlotte when visiting Ulfborg on our holiday. Great to meet up! Beautiful dark amber, red-brown color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, caramel, raisins. Flavor is malts, caramelized sugars, sticky sugars, liquor soaked raisins, bourbon. A bit thinner bodied than I would have thought, but still very solid. Absolutely delicious. An old school barley wine. Absolutely love it. Great beer.
