Description

Tap @ Wormer Winterbierfest with Borresteijn. Dark color. Light beige head. Aroma’s of whisky, peat, light acetone. Retronasal there’s roast, whisky, peat. Flavor is roasted, fruity, light bitter. Light bodied. rather thin actually. Finishes roasted, rather bitter. I find it hard to get used to low alcoholic barrel aged beers (other than lambic or oud bruin)

Dark blond colour with thick creamy head. Really smooth and easy to drink texture. A touch of citrus hop. The bitterness builds up nicely in the finish.

Near-gushing to towering beige head over black-brown beer. Sweet nose with lots of bananaester. Brown candi sugar, seemingly rather concentrated; melanoidins. Sweetish, very roasted, bit of tobacco/ash, hopoils. Slowly fading flavours, rather well-bodied, slick. Classic. Maybe a tad too...
